It’s a serious reminder that keto crackers are every bit as tasty, if not tastier, than regular crackers. Top them with sliced deli meat for on-the-go low carb lunches, or serve them with your favorite low carb appetizers to get any party started. This low carb crackers recipe satisfies the taste buds without making you feel guilty. For a saltier cracker, sprinkle on sea salt on top of the cut dough before baking. There is a huge variation between various brands of almond flour which is likely to blame. The dough should form a ball when it is the correct consistency. If you find that your dough is too wet, simply add a bit more almond flour until it reaches the right consistency. If it is too dry or crumbly, add an extra egg white. Continue this until the dough is the correct consistency.
Keto Buttery Crackers Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cup almond flour (blanched)
- 1 large Egg (beaten)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the almond flour and sea salt in a large bowl. Add the egg and mix well, until a dough forms. You can also mix in a food processor. Place the dough between two large pieces of parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to roll out to rectangle, about 1/16 inch thick.
It will tend to roll into an oval shape, so just rip off pieces of dough and re attach to form a more rectangular shape. Cut the cracker dough into rectangles. Prick with a fork or toothpick if desired. Place on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes, until golden.
