Keto Avocado Toast is a delicious twist on the classic and trendy avocado toast. It’s a simple, delicious, super nutritious and probably the perfect breakfast food. Simple and minimalist to ideally bring out the flavors. Salty, creamy and spicy.

Keto Avocado Toast

A lot of avocado lovers spice it up by adding radishes, peppers or by chopping up fresh herbs to place on top. But adding to many other flavors takes away from fully enjoying the magical blend of creamy salted avocado and black pepper. Avocados are a fantastic source of vitamins C, E and K. They are pretty good for vitamin B-6 as well. Eggs can be tricky, especially in the texture department. If you can’t stomach a runny egg, that is quite fine. Just scramble your egg and use it to top your avocado toast. Ideal for weekend brunch or any time you are looking for a treat.

Keto Avocado Toast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Keto Crispbread

  • 1 fried or scrambled egg

  • 1/2 an avocado
  • pinch of sea salt
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp flax seed (optional)

Preparation:

Fry or scramble 1 egg. In a small bowl use a fork to mash half of a skinned avocado. Spread avocado onto 1 crispbread, top with cooked egg and sprinkle with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
